- Erronea errones coxi f. azurea
- Schilder 1968
- Item No. 395-3a
- Broome, Western Australia. Under rocks and rubble in shallow water.
- Localized population only from the Broome area. Lovely blue dorsum with no blotch. Usually with distracting flaws. This specimen has only a couple of very shallow lines, not distracting at all. Otherwise a Gem specimen. Rarely offered and hard to get. Recently, specimens have been offered on some of the online auctions as azurea, but are in fact acid treated and polished shells. This is the real thing, a gorgeous shell.
